ENABLING "4G LTE" CONNECTIONS (ANDROID OS)
Hi readers,
Today's topic is about enabling 4G LTE on Android OS and it's a very easy task for anyone to accomplish.
- If you have a 4G SIM card and your phone supports 4G LTE bands but you can't still get a 4Gconnection. Then you must enable 4G connections manually.
METHODS
Method 1:
1.Checking your current settings.
- You can ring this under Setting > Tethering & Networks > Mobile networks > Preferred network mode.
Note: It's important to retain 3G data when moving out of 4G range.
- If you don't see 4G LTE listed there, then proceed to the Second Method. But if it's there select it. If it fails then you have a different problem.
Method 2:
1.Go to your dialer and paste *#*#4636#*#*.
2.A menu will open automatically. Click on Phone information and scroll down to where it says 'Pick preferred Network Type.
NB: It's better to add "LTE/GSM/CDMA" to turn on 4G.
5.Your network will reconnect and you should now see a 4G icon appearingappearingappearingappearing in the top bar.
Note:
- There are some areas that don't support 4G LTE connections.
- Rebooting or Shutting down your phone will reset your network connections to default, meaning that you'll lose 4G LTE and you'll have to start again.
